SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY
Each of the items sold in our store is handmade by local artisans in Uganda and other parts of Africa. That’s what makes them unique. Every time you buy one its an rendezvous with Africa – an adventure and an exploration. Each item has a story behind it and contributed to the empowerment journey of the artisans. However if you are unhappy with your item, please let us know. We would love to let the local artisans know too.
Our Returns Policy gives you 14 days to return or exchange an item bought online with a valid receipt. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, we are sorry we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. That means your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
To return complete the simple form below to alert us to expect the item, and then mail the item to our address. We will email an acknowledgement of receipt and decision on replacement or refund. Note that most of our products are handmade and no 2 items may be exactly alike.

Shipping to all international shipping is via DHL Uganda Ltd. Shipping rates are determined by the weight of the item and destination. Once you have your shopping card ready the shipping costs will be automatically calculated as you proceed to check out. DHL will get your package to you in record time so you can enjoy the African experience right in your own home or office.
